“I have used the same vet in Boca Raton for years. In July 2012 I moved to Fort Lauderdale. My 13 year old dog “Coco” suddenly got very ill.
Afraid to travel with her I went to Fort Lauderdale Veterinary Center. Without any hesitation Dr. Gonzalez saw us. He was very calming and gentle with her. He explained in detail every test and procedure performed. Every cost quoted was honored. Coco’s diagnosis, kidney failure. It’s July 2013. I am so grateful and happy! Under the care of Dr. Gonzalez and his amazing staff, Coco is still her diva self and by my side. When traveling I board her there. The staff is attentive, loving and treat her as their own. I’ve had several pets over the years but have never had a Veterinary Center care for them like this. Their the best!”

“I took my cat to Dr. Gonzalez to have his teeth examined, which resulted in him having to have five teeth extracted. Dr. Gonzalez and his staff were absolutely wonderful to work with! Dr. Gonzalez personally called me when my cat woke up from the anesthesia to let me know all went well, personally brought my cat out to me when I went to pick him up, and personally explained everything that happened, as well as the medications, to me. Everyone was very friendly and caring with both me and my animal. The amount I was quoted for the procedure was what I was charged, with no surprises at check out (and his prices are beyond reasonable). I have no doubt that all animals are in good hands with Dr. Gonzalez and his staff and highly recommend Ft. Lauderdale Veterinary Center to everyone!”

“I am thrilled that I have found the Fort Lauderdale Veterinary Center. It is so much closer to my home and they are WONDERFUL!! I have been a client of Arbor Pet Hospital for almost 15 years. I have 3 little papillions and think of them as my children (yes I’m one of those). The staff are terrific and made me feel so comfortable on my very first visit. Today I had to rush my 15 year old to the vet, because he got a hold of some rat poisoning. Not only did I feel so confident that my little guy was going to be well cared for, but it wasn’t going to cost me a second mortgage. I don’t feel that Dr. Gonzalez wants to take advantage of my love for my pets and my wallet. He seems like a genuine animal lover. The office use to be an Urgent Care center, so the xray and surgical equipment is right on site. The Doc lives close and very proud of his practice. I would even consider leaving my babies there for an extended stay. The kennels are very lovely. If you are looking for a new vet or to make a change. You owe yourself and your animals a visit to Dr. Gonzalez. His prices are good, but the care is exceptional!!!”

“My dog was vomiting and lethargic we were out of town our friend took him to see DR Gonzalez where he ended up spending 5 days with pancreatitis. DR Gonzalez called me twice a day to update me on my dogs progress. Even text me pictures. It made what was a bad situation tolerable. When we got home my dog was back with our friends and doing great. With 2 dogs 2 cats and a bird I am glad that he is able to treat them all. The clinic is beautiful and the staff is awesome! I am so thankful!”

“LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gonzalez and his staff. First of all, the location is convenient. Second, the office is not only up to date, but it’s absolutely clean. Third, the vet techs are great and they truly love and care for your pet. Fourth, Dr. Gonzalez is an absolute gem. I’m a first time dog owner, although I’ve always grown up with a family pet. When I first got my toy poodle puppy, I took him for his initial exam to Dr. Gonzalez. From that moment on, I learned how important it is to have a great vet. Like any first time “mom,” I had a million questions, all of which Dr. Gonzalez answered patiently. One night, we had a little accident with my puppy’s paw. It being close to 10:00PM, I called Dr. Gonzalez’s office to leave him a voicemail asking what I should. I was surprised when he returned my phone call immediately! He was able to see my puppy the next day and took care of him. These are just some examples of the great service you get when you take your pets to Fort Lauderdale Veterinary Center. There is no doubt in my mind my puppy will continue seeing Dr. Gonzalez and his staff for years to come!”

“I’ve got two very skiddish dogs and a cat that Dr. Gonzalez and his staff always take fantastic care of. My first dog was there routinely on a recommendation from a neighbor about a year ago and the visit went very smoothly. From that point forward, I had decided he would be my vet. I adopted a cat from the Humane Society a couple months later, and of course she was sick. I took her there after not eating and vomiting for two days. She had a very bad respiratory infection and after some fluids and antibiotics, she was feeling much better. I adopted my last dog in March and had a non-anesthetic dental done at FLVC in April. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Gonzalez and his staff (Jen, Ashley, and Katie). I can’t write enough good things!”

“Dr. Gonzalez has been my family’s vet ever since my two Italian Greyhounds had their first visit with him back in January 2006. Dr. Gonzalez is kind and gentle with his patients and the office environment is always easy, relaxed and happy – Giorgio and Lulu don’t mind going to the vet. In July Lulu was not feeling well and we went to see Dr. Gonzalez but, I learned he was no longer at his previous location and he had opened his own practice. I had to find out where he was because I knew that Lulu would get the best possible care from Dr. Gonzalez. Everyone at FLVC is wonderful! We immediately felt welcomed and everyone became invested in Lulu’s health. Lulu was critical and diagnosed with IMMUNE MEDIATED ANEMIA. After a transfusion and lots of TLC from Dr. Gonzalez and his staff I am happy to say Lulu has made a turn around and is doing well. I could not have made it through these difficult times without the help, support and advice from Dr. Gonzalez and everyone in his practice. They are an exceptional group of animal lovers. I love these guys and I am thrilled that my family doctor is still in town!”

“Highly recommended for your little ones needs. I first stumbled upon this place once I moved to Florida and have been taking my dog there ever since which amounts to about a year now. They have done a wonderful job taking care of her medical needs and even boarding. As a vet tech myself, it brings me peace of mind knowing my girl is being treated well here even when I am not around. Not to mention how clean and well kept the location is. From experience with other vet hospitals/clinics you would be amazed by how dirty things can get, but you can definitely tell the level of care the staff and Dr. Gonzalez have for this place and their patients. Dr. Gonzalez and the staff are wonderful, very friendly and passionate with what they do. I would gladly recommended them and continue taking my girl for her medical and boarding needs.”
